Great turnout. What a sight looking up & down Park Lane and then Piccadilly – end to end crammed with cyclists.
Avoided the chill at Speaker’s Corner by doing a few turns round Hyde Park - and helping rescue a cleaner from a marauding pigeon in the Gent’s Loo in Kensington Gardens!
Let’s hope it all makes a difference.

It wasn’t too bad – faint drizzle some of the time. Main problem was getting cold waiting at Speakers Corner for the set-off. Good fun on the whole – some familiar faces, some new ones.
Some students from UEL are doing a short on-line survey of participants on the big ride = www.tinyurl.com/UELBigRideSurvey – takes two minutes!

Who cares about forecasts now? David is out on the feeder ride.
It is wet. It is grey. Looks like rain will stay.

I'd be prepared for rain. The Met Office actually has light rain down from 13:00 and heavy rain from 16:00. Sunday on the other hand is just wall to wall heavy rain. But we all know how reliable the Met Office's forecasts are.
