Just a warning that tomorrow for a week (at least) the southbound Charing Cross Road Bus and Cycle lane will be closed for emergency gas works at Old Compton Street. Buses will divert via Shaftesbury Avenue and cyclists can either do this or will have to walk through the closed part. Probably best to avoid the area and use Gower Street and Endell Street or the new LTN through Seven Dials.

Cadent have tried to allow a cycle route through the works but it looks like it won't be possible to do this safely due to the road layout.
